Privacy policy
1. Controller
The controller of data collected on www.kontekstownik.pl is Damian Dobroliński. Contact for all data matters: damian@demrise.pl.
2. What we collect
The site has no forms, user accounts or newsletter. You do not give us any personal data.
- Visit statistics (Google Analytics 4) – only if you click “Accept” in the banner. We collect information about the visit: approximate location (country, city), device and browser type, traffic source, pages viewed and whether the YouTube, TikTok or other channel buttons were clicked. Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses. Advertising signals and Google Signals are switched off.
- Topic suggestions – if you send a topic through the “Got a topic worth explaining?” field, we receive only its text (up to 100 characters), stored in a Google Form on the controller’s account. We do not collect your email address or any other data about you – please do not include personal data in the topic. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) – learning which topics are worth explaining.
- Your banner choice – stored in your browser (localStorage) so we do not ask on every visit. This information does not reach us.
- Server logs – the site is served by GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.). Like any server, it technically processes the visitor’s IP address to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
3. Purpose and legal basis
- Visit statistics: understanding interest in the site and channels – based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- Delivering the site and security: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Cookies
Without your consent the site stores no cookies. After consent Google Analytics stores:

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time: . After withdrawal we delete the Google Analytics cookies from your browser. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier measurement.
5. Recipients and transfers outside the EEA
Statistical data is processed by Google Ireland Ltd as a processor; it may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA on the basis of the European Commission’s decision on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The site is served by GitHub, Inc. (USA), which is also covered by this framework.
6. How long
We keep data in Google Analytics for 14 months; after that it is deleted automatically.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, rectify, erase or restrict its processing, to data portability and to object, and the right to withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland). We do not make automated decisions or profile for advertising purposes.
8. Links to external services and email
The buttons lead to YouTube (Google), TikTok, Facebook and Instagram (Meta), which operate under their own privacy policies. The site does not embed their players, plugins or scripts, so nothing connects to them before you click.
If you write to kontekstownik@gmail.com, we process your address and the content of your message to reply (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and keep them for as long as the correspondence requires. The mailbox is operated by Google.
